Me is back!
I started to realize that I am fond of things related to historical romance, the british one in particular. Last year, I read Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen (all hail Austen!) in Indonesian. I love it but that's it. It all began when I stumbled upon great stories at Wattpad! I found that app fascinating because it provided LOTS of amazing stories and all free! YAs I love free things.
Since english is not my mother tongue, I sometimes find it difficult to decipher some words in a story. The classic one to be specific. But that's not a big deal since I take it as a part of learning. Learning new language is always mesmerizing, isn't it?
I would love to recommend Regency Series by @litttleLo (you can check it out by clicking her profile here). Laura is a great writer I must admit it. I still have tons of historical fiction stories in my wattpad library tho :p
And for the 'proper' story, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I am still improving my english so I can read other Austen's masterpiece such as Persuasion (I heard that it's good as well). I like stories set in victorian era. Do you have any recommendation?
Besides, I currently like to watch period-drama. I have watched Pride and Prejudice, Becoming Jane, and The Young Victorian. Here I'd love to recommend some movies;
1. Pride and Prejudice (2005)

| (deep sigh) |
This is a biographical movie of Jane Austen. We all know that she herself stayed unmarried until her death, along with her sister, don't we? Yet she managed to write things that perhaps she'd dreamed of. She deserved more than that. Mayhap if she'd agreed to their elopement, Pride & Prejudice shall never born. Tis taught us that there's so much things in life to pursue and love is the least in the list. So much things.
3. The Young Victoria (2009)
| BEAUTIFUL. Period. |
This movie is beautiful. It persuades me to learn about history of england (thus I'm considering to take english literature as my major later but idkkk really). Above is the scene when she proposed to Albert. YASH. SHE proposed. Queen does. I wish I were a queen lol. And they must love each other very much to have nine children. NINE for godheaven's sake. And thus I know that male does not inherit title from female (which makes Albert not a king, yes I was a dumb lol).
Sooo that's it! I am in the middle of final exam. I know nothing of accounting and I must study now so I can get good grades. Wish me luck fellas!
